FRIDGES & FREEZERS · JOHANNESBURG REPAIR HELP
Fridge leaking water?
Water inside drawers, underneath the fridge or around an ice dispenser can come from different parts of the appliance.
Start with the symptoms.
Describe the first place you see water. A pool under a drawer, a drip near a dispenser connection and water on the floor should not be treated as the same fault. Photographs of the visible leak path are useful.
What to send with your enquiry.
Include the model, whether the fridge has a water dispenser or ice maker, and whether the leak happens constantly or only at certain times. Tell us whether cooling is also affected.
Add your suburb or estate, who can meet the technician and whether the appliance is fitted or freestanding. If a model label is hidden, describe the appliance rather than moving it yourself.
A safe boundary.
Keep clear of wet electrical equipment. Do not pull a heavy fridge out or dismantle panels to trace a leak.
What the assessment should clarify.
An error code or symptom points the conversation in a useful direction, but it does not establish the faulty part. The assessment should explain what work is recommended and whether components are available for the actual model.
Confirm the assessment or call-out charge before booking. Discuss the repair quote, any parts order, further visit and applicable cover before approving work. Send an email enquiry or a WhatsApp message through this website; the team confirms appointments directly.
Repair or replace?
Compare the proposed work with the appliance’s overall condition and the cost of a suitable replacement. Include delivery and fitting in that comparison. For a relatively small fault, an assessment may reveal a practical repair; extensive damage or unavailable parts can change the decision.
